No, he's Bernard after Bernard Blancus (Bernard the White) in Pagan's Vows. He's a white iBook, of course. Bernard Blancus is a 'fat monk who's always blocking the doorways' when you're in a hurry, but my Bernard is not annoying like that at all.
I've also had laptops called Segundo ('the Second') and Loki (as in the Troublemaker), but they weren't Macs, of course. :P
