Well, I keep filling up my phone with pointless photos, so I thought it was time I took some off and shared them.  This first one is a pig we saw while we were driving up to Beechworth one day...

Pig!

Next comes Pickle, who loves climbing behind our venetian blinds to bask in the sun.

Pickle

Or, I could take a photo of myself looking a little vague and try to make it look all arty...

Bunne

Lastly is a pic I took today at the bus-stop.  The bare branches of a nearby tree were making a lovely pattern against the sky and I just had to take a shot.  Then, I simply had to play around with it in PSP to create this...

Branches

Oh what fun! That piggy is just cute. Is it a car or something? And the arty pic is very ooh la la!

I think the pig was some sort of promotional thing. Nevertheless, it was quite funny to see it driving along like that. If only it hadn't been raining then I'd have been able to get a clearer a shot of it.

Is that pig a car? No- I figured it out..it's the trojan pig >_> I always knew pigs were shifty.

I really like the photoshopped branches picture. Very nice!

it's the trojan pig

That made me think "never look a gift pig in the mouth", which in a peculiar mental side-step made me wonder how many car accidents would be caused by following that advice (the mouth presumably being the windscreen).

I think it probably causes accidents anyway.

"Hey! Was that a pig??"

"I don't know, but I'm pretty sure that's an on-coming truck..."

It could be the Destroyer pig - now with wheels! I can't actually remember if it was a car or a trailer, to be honest. Probably a trailer.

I didn't actually mean to do that to the branches - I was just looking for a way to balance out the light in the sky but I got carried away. I just love the little spiky round pods and the silhouette they made with the branches.

Oooo! Lovely work. That pig-car-whatsit reminds me of one of two cars that are often seen in the Portland area. One has buttons (?) all over it and the other has a giant clay face. =3

Thank-you muchly! People certainly do interesting things to their cars, don't they?

Heh, Pickle. :) Doesn't she mess up with the blinds?

Thankfully, she doesn't. She just scrambles up onto the window-sill and slides along until she finds a sunny spot.

Yay, piccies! Heh, mine always tried to get behind the blinds, too. They messed them up so bad though, that I've not resorted to having them up all the time, and just hanging a blanket up as window covering lol

Luckily, we have very wide window-sills. They seem to be the perfect width for Pickle to sleep on and there's just enough room between the window and the blind, so things don't get tangled up or ruined. We usually pull the blinds up a little if it looks like she wants to get up, but she seems to prefer being behind the blind. Cats...

Mine want to go behind the blinds too. But they always go through the darned things first in order to get there lol

Right.... so the Destroyer has updated his travel plan. He no longer has to walk, he drives :P Maybe he has the advertisements scibbled on his side to make a bit of extra cash, or it's payment for his ride. Eitherway, i don't think Elf on a horse is going to be able to catch up. Clever piggy.

And it's fun being arty. A lot of my images suffer from me being arty... :P

they all look pretty. And that cat of yours is far too photogenic.

Oh yes - it's Destroyer-on-Wheels now. No-one stands a chance against that. :)

Fun photos :-) Phones are so useful for those 'spur of the moment' shots!

They are, aren't they? For example, that pig would have been out of sight by the time I'd extracted my camera from its bag... if I even had my camera with me.
