Is it just me, or is the internet dead?  Where is everyone?  Are they all off, having lives and doing stuff?  If so, why aren't they writing about it in LiveJournal?

I need entertainment at work!  I need it when I'm at home on Fridays.  When did I say everyone could go off and do fun things and not tell me about it?

I feel a big sulk coming on.

Well, I did until I realised I'm just as guilty of this as everyone else.  There must be something in the air that's stopping me from updating regularly.  Well, that and the fact that not much is going on.  Also, yesterday a story attacked me when I wasn't looking and insisted on spending all day with me.  I can't really complain about that, because it's an infectious story, full of characters and unwanted betrothals and idiots sleeping in stone circles.  I'm sure I must have looked a bit weird, though, at various times throughout the day.  But that's what you get when you have one foot in your imagination and one at work.

Actually, I think I had most of my body in my imagination and just one or two fingers and associated brain cells at work.

It was a lot more fun than my average day at work.  Now all I have to do is start writing the story.  Or the snippets of story in my head, at the very least.

Oh, and did I mention my very modest aim to write ten thousand words in ten weeks?  In that case, consider it mentioned.  Ack.

I'm very much far from having a life :P I've been sitting at my computer all day surrounded in books and notes attempting to study for exams.. hooray! :/ Good luck with your word count goal!

Ah yes, study. That'll keep you from having fun every time. Good luck with your exams.

'But that's what you get when you have one foot in your imagination and one at work.' What a lovely phrase.

'Is it just me, or is the internet dead? Where is everyone?' You've spent the entire day on MSN set "Out to Lunch"! It's your rapacious hunger that kept everyone away... were we to be next?

Why thank-you, good Morbane. I'm glad you liked that particular phrase. It seems to sum up just how bizarre the day in question was.

Ah yes - my long lunch. I had no idea I was so alarming people with it. In the future, I shall be more considerate.

Yes, me too! I love finding new people to read. Anything to keep me occupied at work.

Yes, one of the worst things about having a life is finding the time to write about it. You made me girn :).

Um, I mean "grin". Not "girn." I don't know what girning is, but I don't think I do it.

That is quite true. There have been times in my past two years of livejournaling where I was busy and kept thinking I should document it in my LJ... but I was simply to occupied with things to do it! I can forgive people for that, I suppose. :)

Well, I've had the home network down all week and it's a bugger trying to get any private time on the family computer (hence this commnet occuring at 12.42am according to my watch but not the computer clock). Also, end of semester at uni. Also, lazy and having little-to-no life to actually report on.

And because also is my word of the day, I would also like to read this new story of yours. Also. And also, I have 3000 words to write in five days so you can write 1000 per week, also.

*weaves tipsily off singing "also, also...alsoalsoalso"*

School and study seems to be a big factor in the slowness of the internet at the moment. Having a dead network wouldn't help much either, so I definitely appreciate your taking the time to make me feel better with this comment. :)

Good luck with your three thousand words! If I like any of what I write on this new story, I may be inclined to share it.

Huzzah for my vibes of guilt working! And thanks for your good wishes. I shall pop them beside my computer while I'm working on my story.

*flails* SCHOOL! *continues flailing*

On Thursday, my teacher informed us that we had our final paper due next Friday (a week from today). This gives us about a week to work on it. And guess what she sprang on us?

TEN PAGES. Ten freaking pages! And I have ANOTHER paper due Wednesday that is supposed to be a research paper of 15-20 pages!!!!! <--sure sign of insanity

So that's my excuse. After school is out, I shall be so happy, and I shall fly away to England for a month. I promise to update my LJ before then.

And I want to read your story. Story! (I almost typed "sotyr," but I don't know what that is.)

Oh my goodness. Those demands sound inhuman, good Elfie. Look at all the exclamation marks they've driven you to use!

By the way, I haven't forgotten about that icon request of yours. I just keep remembering about it at times when I can't do anything about it. But I shall definitely have a go at it this weekend.

lol I'm sorry! I've been either stranded on the ground, doing housework or playing with Dustin on Knights World Online. Aside from that, the most exciting thing that's happened is that we lost our parking space right infront of our door. The new appartment manager found out that not all appartments had places, so she juggled some around. Bah. But sure, if you're that high up for LJ news, I'll post it on my own LJ ^_~

Yay for new stories. New stories are good. They keep friends entertained when the writer is enclined to share said stories ^_~

Hehe! People keep making subtle hints about sharing this story. Well, once I've written some of it, I shall think about doing so. :)

How inconvenient to lose your handy parking space!

This story, that story.... any and all stories written by my friends! ^_~

Very inconvenient indeed. My neighbour asked me this morning why I was suddenly parking across the way and I told her (she hadn't noticed the number change yet). When I told her she was appaled and said that she'd be willing to back me up adn try help get my old spot back. Hopefully next week we can go to the manager and see if we can figure something out *crosses fingers*

The internet is dead! My friends list has been quiet, too - especially the communities.
I blame exams, and a certain malicious bullant.

*Becomes curious about story*
