I figured it would be easier to do a poll than to visit you all pesonally and find out what browser you're using and what resolution you favour, although I'm sure the home visits would be far more entertaining.  If you would all be so kind, please click your way through this poll and I will reward you with completely non-existent treats at the end of it!

[Poll #817043]

Thank-you muchly!

But coming round to my house is so much more interesting than a three second poll! :P

Yes, but think of all the effort I'd have to go to...

OK I'll admit it I'm the IE user.

Before the witch hunt and finger pointing starts :)

Turks! I... I don't know how to feel about this. What can we do to bring you around to the world of Firefox?

I wanted a flat monitor, but, alas, the cats want to nap on my old bulky one. And there's no way I can make sure the knock the flat one down, so...

Pickle loves my new monitor, because she has a whole new area on my desk where she can crouch down and watch birds through the window. :)

Am I the only one using a big monitor? :p
20" (1680 x 1050) and 17" at home (1440x960)

And oh my god, another Safari user!

Well, mine's 19" but I have a really basic graphics card, so I can't go over 1280x1024. But it's an improvement on my old, clunky 17" monitor. I have so much space in PSP8 that I don't know what do to with myself!

Now, I hope you'll excuse me while I whap LJ for not emailing these comments to me...

I wish I had a larger, flatter monitor. Actually, I'd love to have a laptop. Would make my life so much easier when my back goes out. I'd be able to get online at least, instead of being bored out of my skull lol.
And I converted to Firefox Mozilla last year or the year before? After some nudging from the good Elfie

The extra space certainly is nice. I still prefer the warmer colours of a CRT screen, but I'm getting used to my LCD.

I hope your back starts feeling better soon, good Naelany.

Heh, it takes some getting used to. When I had a working laptop, it had LCD as well. I loved it....it saddened me greatly when Dustin accidentally dropped the laptop and broke it.
I just need a bigger screen, so I can see better. That, and new glasses. Both would come in useful right now, and both are equally unatainable at the moment

Thanks, but it's not something that's ever really going to "get better". It can just get...less painful and less encumbering.

Wheee!

It turns out that I'm perfectly average! Who would have thought?

Average works well for most of us. :)

I guess this poll has also answered my question of whether the new standard resolution is 1024x768.
