Out of town

Well, I'm off to the land of internetlessness, otherwise known as Beechworth.  That’s not entirely fair - there is internet there: dial-up.  I remember dial-up.  Oh yes.  I got a lot of reading done when dial-up was around.

Also, I think it would be a bit rude if I turned up at my parents’ place and then said, “Hey, I’m off to spend the next couple of hours on the internet.  Just bring my cuppa in later, will you?”

Just a bit rude.

I’m only going to be away until Saturday, but I have a list of things to do already being compiled in my head.  For the most part, I’m hoping to get some writing done.  There are a couple of projects I really work on and I think they could be a lot of fun.  I just hope I can summon up the discipline to make a start on them.

Before I go, I want to wish flippyfrog much luck with the jamboree. Don’t let the pink get to you! Be strong!

Ah well.  For now, I am off to make the most of my remaining internet time.  Be good while I’m gone!

You mean i'm going to have to be without a Bunne fix two days more then i was planning for??? *hunts around for top deck and iced buns* I'll be able to cope, really i will, this is me handling things, i'll be able to survive, it's not like i'm dependant or anything nooooooooooo not got anything to do with being dependant or stalker like or anything like that at all i'm sure i can survive without you, it's only 10 days, i can handle that, 10 days is nothing i'm sure i won't have any Bunne withdrawls, because like i said it's not like i'm dependant, it's not like i need a Bunne fix, i mean you're all the way down there, and i'm all the way up here and i'm not having any problems with that, oh no, not at all, but i'm only thinking of my future, you know, with the box and everything, i have to make sure it's coming along well, that's all, it's got nothing to do with obsession at all...

I, too, remember dial-up. I tended to get reading and cleaning done (though, admittedly, far more reading than cleaning). Now, the internet sucks me in and doesn't give me time to do anything else! It's evil, I tell you!

Hee - I wonder if you were writing this comment when I was thinking of Jane and Lizzie on the train trip up? I did have a nice time, although there's rather a bit too much pollen up there. And I seem to have come back with a cold. Tea isn't helping!
