Advance warning

Well, I said I wouldn’t change my username without letting everyone know in advance... so I’m letting you all know in advance.  I’m almost 99% certain that I’ll be changing my username to katiefoolery within the next couple of days.  Probably tomorrow night, in fact.

So if Katiefoolery suddenly shows up on your profile page or leaves comments on your LJ, then that’s me!  Or, it could be a creepy stalker using my identity, you never know

Of course, there’s always that un-decided one percent of me that hasn’t quite been convinced yet.  It might be able to summon up some last-minute support and render this post completely redundant.

No matter what I decide, I think there’ll still be a bit of Buneater in me, especially the bit that’s thankful for the friends I’ve met with that username.  I know a fair few of you will always think of me as Buneater or Bunne and you’re quite welcome to do that!  In fact (and I’m looking at the LorFers here), I fully expect to be called Bunne over New Years.  :P

Hmmm, in that case, I'd better take my camera to school tomorrow...I noticed a sign on the way home on Friday that I wanted to photograph before you formally relinquished the Buneater status. Tomorrow night, you said. Right, I'll try to get the pic posted here for you before then. Actually, please don't change before 8pm!! I'll definitely remember to post it as Futurama finishes at 7.30pm... ;)

oohhh I personally quite like that name. Go ahead good...Katie. change it. It shall be most strange indeed getting used to calling you Katie again after using Bunne for so long. Acctually recently I have been thinking "I should stop saying Bunne so much. It sounds like I don't even know her name". Now I shall certainly stop. Although I think there will always be a part of us all (especially the SR loons of olde) who will perpetually see you as Master Katie, the eater of Bunnes.

PS. When did you start spelling Bunne like that? I don't think it was always spelt that way. I've seen it like that a lot in recent times though.

The "Bunne" spelling started back when I initiated the Weeke off Optionall Spelyng on the old SR boards, I believe. Instead of Buneater, I was Eater of Bunne and I later on, I started signing my PMs at Ober.net as "Katie of Bunne" and the Bunne spelling just stuck. I quite like being called Bunne, especially in real life. :)

There'll always be a bit of Master Katie and the old Buneater in me.

I think it's a nifty new username! I guess it's because it's kind of part of your identity already, and not something that is completely new to people. Sometimes it's nice to have change :)

Gah I could've sworn that said Buneater a minute ago. Then I was scrolling up my friends page and I had to look twice. Reality is it prolly changed long before I noticed. Anyways it seems to suit you already. With the same avatar, same journal, and same colours on my firends page it seems like it was like that all along, and I just fooled myself into thinking otherwise. Looks good.
